Well, 2011 has been a memorable year of business challenges and successes, some great moments with friends and family, and (glory be!) potty training.

Ryan continues to travel the Upper Midwest procuring cattle and long-term professional alliances for Grass Run Farms. He's been reading lots about business-building and playing a leeeetle basketball. He's also hoping to ride his mules, Myrtle and Foxy, at the local arena this winter.

Kristine manages much of Grass Run Farm's visual and virtual presence (see new logo at right!) and has been honing some grant-writing skills. She started playing Klezmer and other folk dance music with a local ensemble, Maritza, and will likely perform with them next summer and fall. See their new CD release here. (She plays on tracks 1, 2, 9,10, and 12)

Eliza is busy with buddies in the neighborhood, pretend cooking, and taking good care of her dolls. She especially loves torturing Frannie the Very Tolerant Cat and ordering the dogs around. But then, where would she get that tendency?!?

We're all looking forward to the new year and opportunities to grow and learn.
